During the Arctic Circle Forum held in Rome on March 3rd and 4th, EvK2CNR took center stage in the international dialogue on climate change, high-altitude environments, and scientific cooperation. Together with the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), we organized two key sessions: "Scientific Diplomacy for the Third Pole" and "Science on the Roof of the World: The Third Pole Sentinel and Pyramid Lab."
Our representatives highlighted the critical importance of the "Third Pole"—the Hindu Kush Himalaya and Karakorum regions—as a barometer for global climate health, while strengthening ties with partners in Pakistan and beyond.
