During the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024, the side event 'Mountain Areas and Glaciers: Italian and International Research Activities for Monitoring and Conservation' was presented. The event was organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Italian Air Force, the EvK2CNR Association, and the World Meteorological Organization.
